Polymarket trading bots: do their users make money?

For each bot we pull every trade it placed on Polymarket in the last 7 days, then compute its users, volume and what its users made or lost on those trades. Copy-trading bots, strategy bots and algo platforms, from Polymarket's own public builder data. No screenshots, no self-reported numbers.

Bots we track

Oct 23, 2026 to Oct 30, 2026. Users' PnL counts only trades placed through the bot, after Polymarket's fee and the bot's builder fee; shares still held are valued at today's price (1 or 0 once the market has resolved). The share in profit counts users who bought at least $10 through the bot.

FAQ

Do Polymarket trading bots make money for their users?

On trades placed through the 4 bots we track, users' combined profit and loss over the last 7 days was −$98k after fees, and 39% of 814 users who bought at least $10 came out ahead. Bots differ a lot; see the table.

Where do these numbers come from?

From Polymarket's own public data: its builders leaderboard and every matched trade each bot's builder code is attached to, which Polymarket publishes without a login. Prices for positions still open come from Polymarket's market data. We compute every number ourselves; nothing is self-reported by the bots.

Is a copy-trading bot safe?

A bot that holds your wallet's key can lose or move everything in it, and copy trading follows another wallet's risk, not yours. Use a separate wallet with only what you're willing to lose, and check the bot's link is the real one: check a link before you connect.

Method and limits

  • Trades: Polymarket's public builder trades for each bot's builder code (user wallet, side, shares, USDC, price, fees). Builder codes come from Polymarket's builders leaderboard.
  • Users' PnL: per user and outcome: sale proceeds (capped at the shares bought in the window, so a position bought earlier never counts as profit) plus shares still held at today's price, minus what the buys cost and the fees on those trades.
  • Limits: only trades through the bot, not users' whole accounts. Open positions can still move. A user can trade through more than one bot. Which bots we list depends on a public source saying what they are.

Open data: Polymarket bots (JSON). Not financial advice.
