Worst case: Your Moonshot wallet's secret phrase can be exported, and anyone who gets it, or gets into your Moonshot account, can drain the wallet. Card cash-outs also depend on third-party off-ramp providers that may require ID checks.
Safe setup in 3 steps
- Install Moonshot only from the official app stores via links from moonshot.com or support.moonshot.com, and ignore 'Moonshot voting' or 'listing' sites that ask you to connect a wallet
- Export the secret phrase only to back it up offline, and never type it into any site, bot or 'support' chat
- Keep memecoin money in Moonshot separate from savings, and withdraw profits to a wallet you control
