Worst case: Your Genius wallets are unlocked by your Google, Apple or email login. If that login and its 2FA are compromised, or an exported key leaks, someone can trade or move everything in the Solana and EVM wallets and your Hyperliquid perps balance.
Safe setup in 3 steps
- Go only to tradegenius.com (linked from x.com/GeniusTerminal); treat look-alike domains such as tradegenius.exchange as unrelated
- Turn on Genius's 2FA (email, SMS or WhatsApp code) and a short session length, and secure the Google, Apple or email account you log in with
- Fund the terminal with only what you are actively trading, and don't export the private key unless you need to; if you do, store it offline
What it can do with your money
