Is Maestro safe to connect?

Telegram trading bot ยท Solana, BNB Smart Chain, Base, Ethereum, Monad, Sonic, Avalanche, Arbitrum, HyperEVM, Robinhood Chain, Tron, TON. Checked 2026-10-24; every line links its source.

Worst case: Maestro stores your bot wallet's private key (encrypted) on its servers and can sign with it. A server breach, a compromised Telegram account or a router bug (as in the 2023 exploit, which was refunded) could empty the wallet or any token you approved to its router.

Already lost funds? What to do if a bot or wallet is drained.

Safe setup in 3 steps

  1. Generate a new bot wallet instead of importing your main wallet (Maestro's own advice), and fund it only with what you're actively trading
  2. Write the private key and mnemonic down on paper as Maestro advises, and don't keep them in the clipboard or in your Telegram chat history
  3. Start the bot only from t.me/Maestro as linked on maestrobots.com, and periodically revoke old router approvals (e.g. with revoke.cash)

Maestro also has a full listing with an Agent Risk Score Agent risk 18% (partial, 4 of 7 inputs): Maestro on TradingAgentStack.

What it can do with your money

Who holds the keysThe service holds the keys The bot generates (or imports) the wallet and holds the key to sign trades; Maestro says 'All private keys are AES encrypted' on its servers. The private key and mnemonic are shown when the wallet is created, and if you lose them and delete the bot messages they can't be retrieved. source
Can funds be sent out to any address?Yes. The bot can send native coins and tokens to another of your bot wallets or to any external wallet address. source
