# Is Sigma safe to connect?

Telegram trading bot · Ethereum, Solana, BNB Smart Chain, Base, Avalanche, Unichain. Checked 2026-10-24; every line links its source.

**Worst case:** Sigma holds the keys of the wallets it generates or that you import. If those keys leak, whether from the bot, your device or a phishing bot, everything in them can be drained, as a trader reported losing over $200K in May 2026 with no refund.

## Safe setup in 3 steps

1. Never import your main wallet; create a separate bot wallet and fund it only with what you're actively trading

2. Reach the bot only through the link on sigma.win and support only via t.me/SigmaBotPortal, and ignore 'verification' or CAPTCHA bots that DM you

3. Turn on Telegram 2-step verification and keep the device you use for Telegram free of unknown extensions and cracked software
