# Is Nova safe to connect?

Telegram trading bot · Solana. Checked 2026-10-27; every line links its source.

**Worst case:** Nova's bot creates your trading wallet and keeps its private key so it can trade for you. If Nova's systems, your Telegram account or a copy of the key is compromised, everything in the wallet can be sent to any address, and Nova's terms say it is 'not responsible for losses'.

## Safe setup in 3 steps

1. Turn on Nova's Security Pin (/wallets, then Security Pin Setup, with a recovery email) so the bot asks for your PIN before any withdrawal or wallet change

2. Save the private key the bot gives you offline and never share it or a seed phrase with anyone; Nova's docs say a lost key cannot be recovered, 'not even by Nova'

3. Open the bot (@TradeonNovaBot) and get Nova Click only from links in Nova's own docs, which say 'Only links from our official website are safe and approved'

## What it can do with your money

| Who holds the keys | The service holds the keys The bot creates your wallet and sends you its private key ('The bot will then send you the Private Key & Address of the new wallet'), and it keeps the key so it can trade for you. To import a wallet you must send the bot that wallet's private key. The docs don't say how Nova stores keys.
