# Is NEAR Intents safe to connect?

**Worst case:** Once you send funds into a NEAR Intents swap (directly or through a wallet like Zodl), a compliance flag can hold them indefinitely with no stated deadline, as a user reported for ~589k USDT, and the wallet app cannot release them.
